4 Ways To Grow Your Local Business for FREE

  1. Create a Company Facebook Page

Put up a sign at your location asking patrons to “like” your business on Facebook for a free service or other giveaway. Have a great database software system and email out at least once-a-month special offers. Send anything that will keep your business in your customers mind.

  2. Find nearby businesses with heavy foot traffic

Make sure they aren’t competitors. Visit with them in person and ask them if they would be interested in a flyer swap. You will give their flyer to your customers, if they will give out yours to their customers. If you can work it out so that they will  include a flyer in every bag with a purchase, this will be more effective for you rather than just leaving flyers on the counter or cork board.

  3. Keep posting updates!

Post pictures, specials, and other offers on your company Facebook page. This will work along with your normal email marketing. It is simply another channel to stay in touch with your customers.

  4. Ask local organizations if you could speak to their members

Just remember to always make it an “educational” marketing where you are sharing information that will be helpful to them and not just pure sales pitch.

I’m sure you can think of many others so let’s hear from you all.
